On August 17 Hark the Heart are presenting a talk and performance at the Italian cultural hub of Canberra, Dante Alighieri Society. We will be talk about an exciting new project we’re taking on in 2018, which involves travelling to Italy, learning traditional folk songs, dialect, and mandolin, writing new, contemporary music inspired by these experiences, and then bringing our music and stories back to Australia. Yeah, we are pretty cool, people. Pretty cool.
All are welcome to attend, we’ll be playing a mix of traditional Neapolitan folk songs (it’s appox. 100% different to our usual stuff) and our own music, and you can learn more about the event and book tickets here!
